'It's Cold'

I took my granddaughter to the water park. This is what resulted. I waited until the background was totally dry before I put in the water jets.

'Samson'

This is a real character of a cat. This is my cat Samson. I can do a portrait of your pet also.

'Cody'

My husband and I were at Lake Wenatchee on Saturday and I spotted this beautiful Golden Retriever named Cody. I need to do a little more work on getting the coloring just right. Thank you Cody's owners for letting me take his picture. He is a beautiful dog. When the sunlight hit his coat he just glowed.

'Lacy Shadows'

Here is the second street scene. I just loved the shadow patterns that the trees created on the buildings and the sidewalks. Hope you enjoy it.

'The Crosswalk'

I thought I would try some street scenes. Wenatchee has a very charming downtown area even though it isn't very big. Another scene will follow in a day or two.

Here is a cute old shed that is near the 'Orchard Barn'. It has real character.

This is a re-do of my one I did on July 16. I added the shadow in the foreground. I felt your eye got stuck on all the light area of the road.

I spotted this old barn near Cashmere, WA I just had to paint it. It is really is a magnificent barn. I just hung some of my painting at Brian's Cafe that just opened. They have a great salad bar. 

'Sunny Slope'

I'm trying a looser style with my trees. I kinda like it better than my old trees. This is a hillside in an area called Sunnyslope. Loved the contrast between the dried grasses and the green trees.

This is the second try. A sweet yellow lab named 'Tatter' Thank you Tatter's owner for letting me take his picture. I'm enjoying the pet portraits.

'Delilah'

Though I would try my hand at pet portraits. So this is my first try. This is Deliah. One of my cats.

A delightful end to a beautiful day. Brilliant sunshine and warm temperatures. This is near my daughters house close to Plain, WA

I found this little creek that runs through Cashmere. Some delightful folks allowed me to pass through their yard to get to it. Thank you for allowing me. I would love to come back some time.

I was taken by the wonderful rich browns in this weathered wooden gate with a backdrop tapestry of greens.

'Spring Clean-Up'

I just loved the sunlight on the wisteria vine and the shadows from nearby trees. The lilac was in full bloom which added to the charm of the setting.

'Icicle River Rocks'

A few weeks ago my daughter and I went up the Icicle Canyon. This is from that trip. Some very awesome terrain. I was like a kid in a candy shop. You just don't know what to do next!
